I had an embryo transfer 10 days ago, and I went for a blood test. The result showed an hCG level of 26.14. However, the doctor mentioned that the embryo has not fully implanted yet and suggested transferring another one. I would like to ask the doctor, what should the hCG levels be after 10 days of embryo transfer for a successful pregnancy?

At 10 days after embryo transfer, if the beta hCG level is greater than 5, it indicates that you are pregnant. However, for the pregnancy to be developing well, the beta hCG level should be greater than or equal to 100. If the beta hCG level is lower than 100, continued monitoring with blood tests every 2-3 days is necessary, as there may be concerns about abnormal pregnancy development, such as an ectopic pregnancy or a biochemical pregnancy.
After the embryos have successfully implanted in the uterus, the pregnant woman should spend a lot of time resting, maintain a balanced diet, engage in appropriate light physical activity, and, most importantly, undergo regular ultrasounds and prenatal check-ups to ensure the pregnancy progresses safely.
