ANNOUNCEMENT SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE CELEBRATING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE “MEKONG DELTA PELVIC FLOOR SOCIETY”

I. Purpose and Rationale for the Program
Pelvic floor disorders are common conditions that significantly impact the health and quality of life of millions of people. These disorders are complex as they involve multiple specialties, including obstetrics & gynecology, urology, and colorectal surgery. Effective diagnosis and treatment require an in-depth understanding of pelvic floor anatomy and physiology, as well as multidisciplinary collaboration to ensure comprehensive outcomes and shorten patients’ recovery times.
In response to this urgent need, the Mekong Delta Pelvic Floor Society was established to serve as a scientific bridge and a platform for physicians and specialists to share experiences, update knowledge, and develop optimal treatment protocols.
This scientific conference, hosted by Vinmec Can Tho International Hospital, aims to:
- Update the latest knowledge and modern treatment trends in pelvic floor medicine.
- Create opportunities for networking, learning, and exchanging practical experiences with leading experts.
- Promote multidisciplinary collaboration, improving treatment effectiveness and patient care across healthcare facilities.
