Letter from the director

The Vinmec Research Institute of Stem Cell and Gene Technology (VRISG) was established on the basis of excellent achievements over four - year - development of Vinmec Research Center of Stem Cell and Gene Technology. The VRISG is a strategic research unit invested by Vingroup Corporation in the field of biomedicine, with the mission of applying the most advanced technologies of Biomedicine and Regenerative Medicine into healthcare for Vietnamese people.

Following the motto “Creative and More Creative”, the VRISG focuses all its resources to become the pioneer in Biomedicine and Regenerative Medicine research and application in Vietnam and the region.

With highly – experienced and enthusiastic researchers, state-of-the-art equipment and international collaborations, the VRISG has full potential to increase basic research and applied research, implementing technology transfer in the field of Biomedicine and Regenerative Medicine, especially for stem cell transplantation, immune cell and gene therapies.

I do believe that with great enthusiasm, with extensive international cooperation, all staff of the The Vinmec Research Institute of Stem Cell and Gene Technology will devote their best efforts to develop the VRISG to be world-class research institute.
